The GHCSS Has Concluded

The Global Health Clinical Seminar Series ran from 2007–2012 and was supported through PEPFAR, the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. It was produced by International Training & Education Center on HIV (I-TECH) with funding from Cooperative Agreement U91HA06801 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), in collaboration with CDC.

Christina Marra is a physician who is Board Certified in Neurology. After her neurology training, she completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases. She is currently Professor of Neurology with an adjunct appointment in Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, USA. Since 1988, Christina has cared for HIV-infected people with neurological problems. She directs a research program on neurosyphilis with emphasis on differences in disease course and response to treatment in patients who are and are not also infected with HIV. She also participates in multi-center clinical research on the neurological consequences of HIV.
