Mother-Friendly Birth Care
This session will explore the concept of Mother-Friendly Care for women during the childbearing cycle. In order for us to meet the Millennium Development Goals Three and Five to promote gender equality, empower women, and improve maternal health, women need to become partners in their care. Mother-Friendly care reinforces this concept, identifying specific behavioural tools for caregivers.
